Judy Construction Company was incorporated in 1974 in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Larry Judy, P.E. founded the corporation and was President of Judy until his retirement in February 2013. His son Steve has served as president since. Our longevity in the construction industry is a measure of our success. This success comes from a commitment to excellence and consistent quality. We have achieved these results from a hands-on management style and keeping a core of professional employees with varying fields of expertise. Our most valuable asset is our people. Judy Construction Company’s current workforce contains more than 100 employees who have been with the company for more than 10 years. Our past projects include commercial and institutional buildings, industrial facilities, water and wastewater treatment facilities and highway construction. Construction projects range from $300,000 to $60,000,000.
Our General Operating radius is within 350 miles of Central Kentucky. We have completed projects in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio and Indiana. We are also licensed in Alabama and West Virginia. Judy has completed more than 175 water and wastewater treatment facilities and has been ranked in the ENR Top 200 Environmental Contractors in the US consistently since the early 2000’s. With the different types of projects that we perform, we have found it beneficial to own a large variety of equipment. This allows us to self-perform many different phases of our projects. Our fleet contains cranes, excavators, front-end loaders, dozers, articulating trucks, backhoes, compressors, pile hammers and other specialized construction equipment.
